The first question that appears in once mind is "Why the XBOX 360 is named that way ?", because the same question appeared in my mind. Actually it was supposed to be name XBOX 2 but their competitors where already on 3 so this is the reason why they came up with the name XBOX 360 representing its all-round capability of gaming and media sharing.

Now this was the introductory part, the real thing is about the comparison between the two most selling gaming portal. A Playstation 3 runs with a 3.2 Ghz, 256 Mb of XDR RAM at 3.2 Ghz or a 256Mb GDDR3 VRAM at 700 Mhz whereas An XBOX 360 runs at a 512Mb  of RAM well according to the techno geek’s when its about the superiority between the two gaming console then without a doubt the Playstation 3 is superior than an XBOX 360 in its graphics capability while both of the gaming console has the bloom effect but in the area of light absorption, surface refraction and highlighting its much better in Playstation 3 when compared to XBOX 360.

Although XBOX 360 looks inferior to the Playstation 3 but it steals the market because Microsoft has a mass market appeal the XBOX 360 also gives importance to it features like XBOX live which is not given much importance in Playstation 3 one more drawback is that the incapability to burn a DVD but as we all know that Playstation 3 stands out in the crowd and steals the day.
